Welcome to another week of Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by the lovely Broke and the Bookish! TTT is a weekly bookish meme in which bloggers are given a topic and encouraged to list their own top ten on that topic.
Last weeks TTT was Books I’m Looking Forward to In 2018. Most of those books I already have ordered/pre-ordered. *ahem*
This weeks TTT is New to Me Authors I Read in 2017. I try to read a lot of debut authors, but I don’t think I’ve read that many this year. If you see a debut author I should have read, leave a comment down below; or leave the link to your own TTT.
I’m expecting her to be on quite a few lists. Caraval has been on many, many of my lists through out this year and its sequel has been making my lists recently. I can only hope that it gets better and doesn’t lose its charm!
Blake Crouch’s “Dark Matter” is probably the best book of the year 2017 for me. It had my inner physics nerd tingling and bouncing with every twist and turn in the story.
I reviewed her first book in The Want series, Awoke, for a book tour. It’s a fantasy/paranormal story that reminds me a lot about the anime Bleach. Plus it has a hot Scottish guy.
I did read Cat Winters debut novel, Odd & True, but I can’t say I enjoyed it all that much. It’s a perfect example of “you can’t judge a book by its cover”, because I was all over that beautiful cover.
Are You Seeing Me? was a too cute story about an autistic guy and his sister on a road trip to see their estranged mother. Darren Groth now has a new book out called Munro Vs. The Coyote that I’m dying to check out.
