Welcome to another week of Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl! TTT is a bookish meme in which each week bloggers are given a topic and encouraged to list their very own top ten on that given topic.
Last weeks TTT was Books I Can’t Believe I Read. This weeks TTT is Books That Have Been On My TBR the Longest and I Still Haven’t Read. I’m probably going to be embarrassed by how old some of these books are!
Once Upon A Road Trip by Angela N. Blount
2013? Yikes! Yeah, I was on a complete contemporary YA kick at the time, but I never got around to this one. It still seems interesting, but I’m in more of a murder/crime kick right now.
No More Heroes by Nicholas Chapman
This is one of those “where do they go?” when the story is over kind of books. It focuses on book characters when no one is reading them- the villains still being villains and the heroes still needing to be heroes.
Liars, Inc. by Paula Stokes
Nope. I’m probably 1:1000 book bloggers that hasn’t read this book yet. It has so many mixed reviews; it looks like you either love it or hate it. I still need to get my hands on this book one day.
Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow
This is one of those books that I kind of want to read, and I kind of don’t. It’s heavy on mental illness and I know it’s probably going to be tear-jerker.
Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan
This is so sad. I forgot this one was even on my list. Please tell me I’m not the only one who still hasn’t read this? I swear I’m going to.
It’s Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini
This is one of those books I haven’t gotten around to reading yet simply because I haven’t made up my mind if I want to read it or not. It’s a hard subject matter, but the book always comes highly recommended. I might have to put on my big-girl pants and read it.
