Welcome to another week of Top Ten Tuesday, a bookish meme hosted by the lovely Broke and the Bookish! Each week bloggers are even a topic and encouraged to list their own top ten on that topic.
Last week’s TTT was My Favorite Books of 2017. This weeks TTT is Books I Hope Santa Brings! A few years ago we had Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Bringing This Year. A few of those have been obtained since, so heres looking for another fulfilled list! I really need someone to bring me new books, because I just hit my spending limit on pre-orders. Oopsie!
As always, fill free to use the comments to list books you wouldn’t mind Santa bringing you, or leave a link to your TTT!
The Pop-up Book of Phobias by Gary Greenberg
This out-of-print book as been on my ‘want’ list for a long time. With it being hard to find, and the high price when I do find a copy, I just haven’t been able to get my hands on it.
Baby Universe Four-Book Set by Christ Ferrie
I have a new nephew on the way! He’s due April 1st (and yes, I’ve already dubbed him Loki much to my sister’s horror). For people new to my blog, I’m a big physics nerd and I’m determined to start this one early!
Middle-earth from Script to Screen: Building the World of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit by Daniel Falconer
I love watching the DVD extras of certain movies. With TLOTR and The Hobbit movies, I collected the extended editions and watched them through with the commentaries just to hear more about how the movies were made and how they decided what to cut or keep from the books.
The Crow by James O’Barr
I LOVE this movie and the special edition of the graphic novel came out a couple of months ago. Let’s say it’s for nostalgia of growing up watching Brandon Lee.
The Gate of Sorrows by Miyuki Miyabe
It’s been a long time since I’ve picked up a good Japanese novel. This is the sequel to The Book of Heroes and it’s been out for about a year and I still haven’t gotten around to it, and Miyuki Miyabe is one of my favorite Japanese writers!
