The Joker transforms dozens of Gotham City citizens into laughing (and robbing) fools! Is the Dark Knight outnumbered, or can he even the odds? Should he use a Batarang or another high-tech weapon? Can the Caped Crusader save the city, or will the Clown Prince have the last laugh? In this interactive story, YOU CHOOSE the path Batman should take. With your help, hell take down The Joker's Dozen!Amazon •
This is a Batman choose-your-own-adventure book I suggest for 1st-2nd grade level kids. Some of the storylines can be oddly entertaining while others are, I really hate to say, just down right dumb. It can be anything from Batman swinging from building to building with the Joker like the bestest of friends to the two dueling on top of toy T-Rex’s. But what really dropped the stars on this book is that it is not true a choose-your-own-adventure book. At key points you can choose what Batman decides to do, but you also choose the outcome of an investigation instead of leading the World’s Greatest Detective in the actual investigation.
Overall, The Joker’s Dozen wasn’t very entertaining and didn’t stay true to a choose-your-own-adventure book. Instead of being funny it was just silly and didn’t hold any real ‘adventure’ at all.
