It’s October 1st, the start of the scariest(?) month of the year! It’s a time for horror movies, too much candy, and probably all the stores running out of cheap toilet paper. I love October not just because of the cooler weather and the end of the hurricane season, but because of Halloween and all the trimmings that come with it.
For the past couple of years during this month I’ve dedicated my blog to horror books follow a theme. The first year was “Supernatural”- following the TV show and reviewing any books that would fit in that universe. Last year, with all the crazies hitting the streets, the theme was “Clowns”.
This year I’m hitting one of my favorite horror topics: Serial Killers!
Serial Killers have been a subject of strange fascination to me (Don’t Judge!); methods and madness, newly discovered genes that might judge who is more prone to be a serial killer, geniuses at their own craft. It’s tantalizing for anyone interested in psychology, or sociology for that matter.
All month I will be reviewing books related to Serial Killers. Some are fictional and some are case-studies or just general non-fiction about certain killers. Enjoy!
